Yesterday was such a fun day! First of all I started off the day feeling RESTED. The second antibiotic for Cossette seems to be working and she and I had a good nights sleep for the first time in a month. I was so happy about that. God is good!! Life just looks so much better when you're getting a decent amount of sleep. AND I'm so glad to see Cossette happy and feeling better. Another good night last night too. Yay!!! Jeremy had off yesterday which was awesome. The kids and I just LOVE it when he's home. Got caught up on some things around the house that have been driving me crazy.

Then last night my mom kept all three children and Jeremy and I went on a date to Longhorn Steak house. We had a gift card that he had gotten for his birthday. Thanks Mim and Kristen! We had such a fun time. Just relaxing and talking and enjoying a GREAT meal. I love hanging out with Jeremy. He's funny, and easy to talk to and he adores me. Ha! What more could a girl want?!?!

And Cossette learned a new trick yesterday. She pulled herself up to a standing position for the first time. I couldn't believe it. She JUST turned seven months old. WHY do my children always insist on growing up so fast?!?!?! Here is picture proof. Her outfit is  a little funny for November... but I had just given her some medicine for her thrush and it stains... so I put one of Brooklynn torn old shirts on her:) Anyway... here it is!

Milestones...

Lots of stuff going on at our house the last little while.

As of last week...

 - Jason is potty trained. Even staying dry at night most of the time. YAY! He just all the sudden decided that he was done with pampers and that was that!

 - Brooklynn is off of her bottle. That was over due. But it was just one of those things I was putting off till another day. But last week I could tell she was ready and it went super well.

 - Jason gave up his sip cup. That was a big deal for him and he was quite attached. Didn't know how we were going to get rid of that thing, but he just decided that he was too big for it now.

 - Jason also got his first successful hair cut. That was always quite the difficult thing before because he wouldn't sit still and then I'd have to try to fix it... and in the end I would just wait for it to grow out and fix it's self! But he actually SAT and was excited about a hair cut. Yay!

So... it seemed like my two little toddlers grew up a lot last week:)

Cossette turned 7 months old on Saturday. She isn't crawling, but is DEFINITLY mobil. She scoots herself all around and is pulling herself up to things.

I went up to Scottsville NY also last week to visit Faith Chen. I drove up on Thursday and then came back Friday. QUICK trip, but so fun. Thanks to my sister Maria for watching the children Thursday while Jeremy was a t work and thanks to Jeremy for watching them the rest of the time. Nothing like hanging out with old friends! Cossette went with me of course and was a little peach.

AND we are healthy for the most part. Besides the runny noses Cossette's asthma, and nasty cough. Trying to decide if I should take her back to the doctor today...

Saturday night our young married Sunday School class at church had a fall get together. LOTS of fun!!!

Now it's Monday!  AND it's suposed to be warm, so I'm looking forward to taking the children to the park later on today.

And in other news... I'm so far behind on blogging I don't even know where to start. But I'll give it a try.

The month of October in random facts and pictures...

-Cossette got her first tooth and is working on tooth #2! Can't believe how fast my baby is growing up.When I had her at the doctor for her ear infection last week she weighed in at 17.11. She's 61/2 months old now.

CIMG6873

 - Went on a fun coffee date with Jeremy.

CIMG6948

Life is good. Even if I'm living on small amounts of sleep and I don't see anyone but my family and the people at the grocery store and my babies are sick! I have the BEST kids in the world. CUTEST too. And My husband is absolutely amazing. The way he helps me out, always keeps a positive outlook on life and loves me no matter what... well it's just pretty incredible.

This time of year with the beauty all around us is such a huge reminder of God's hand in creation and his hand in our lives and his CARE for us.

It's Fall!

It's Farm Show week in Manheim!

It's windy and cool and perfectly LOVELY!!!

CIMG6655

I'm very, VERY tired. We had some stomach flu issues around here the past few days. Won't go into the details:)

I'm trying to decide if we should venture to the parade with all the children tonight?!?!?! I know they'll love it, but it's going to be cold and just not sure how it will work out.

CIMG6649

Last night we took them in to see all the animals. They LOVED it. It was so much fun to watch them enjoying themselves  and experiencing new things.  It was a great evening.

I had the children outside this afternoon for a while. I thought the fresh air would be good for all of us.

CIMG6658

IT WAS! They were having so much fun on the swing and Cossette always loves to sit in the grass. It was really windy, but strangely kind of warm in the sun. So beautiful.

Going to the cabin with Jeremy's family this weekend, and going to the cabin with our small group next weekend. BUSY couple of weeks here. It's a really perfect time of the year to be at the cabin. This weekend we'll be at the PA Grand Canyon. The leaves should be at their peak and BEAUTIFUL. Lots of pictures from that coming up.
